Lands of Darkness is a Disney world in Kingdom Hearts 4.
Story[]
Sora, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu arrive in the land of Prydain, where they meet Taran, a teenage boy and "assistant pig-keeper" who lets the team join him to look for the pig “Hen Wen.” While looking for Hen Wen, the nine meet the pestering dog-like creature, Gurgi, who wants to be Taran’s friend. Frustrated by Gurgi's antics and cowardice, Taran leaves him, but Sora, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu give Gurgi an apple as a snack. Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu found Hen Wen, who is captured by the Gwythaints, dragon-like creatures. The nine began to fight the Gwythaints. After the fight, Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu, along with Gurgi joining the team, followed the Gwythaints all the way to the castle. The ten discovered it was the evil Horned King searching for a mystical relic known as the Black Cauldron, which can create an invincible army of Heartless, only with the help of Gollum, but not before Taran found a magic sword, so indestructible, which contains magic that allows Taran to effectively fight the Horned King's minions, thus fulfilling his dream. Sora, Taran, Gurgi and the others helped Hen Wen escape, but Gollum sees the ten helping the pig escape and alerts the Horned King, who summons his Gwythaints to go after them.
After the escape, the Horned King orders Gollum, to send the Gwythaints to follow and capture Taran along with Sora and the others. Following Hen Wen's trail, Sora, Taran, Gurgi, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu followed the tracks that lead the ten all the way to Morva, revealing the cauldron's location. Taran decides to destroy it and Sora, Gurgi, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu agree to help him. But Dr. Facilier arrived and tells Sora and the others that the cauldron contains darkness inside. Facilier also reveals that the cauldron is indestructible, and its power can only be broken when someone uses a Keyblade to lock it. Then Dr. Facilier spawns the Skeleton-like Heartless to attack Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce, Sisu and Gurgi. After defeating the Skeleton-like Heartless, Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu prepare to destroy the cauldron, until Gurgi interrupts they are found by the Gwythaints who had followed them. Gurgi runs away, but Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu prepare to fight the Gwythaints. After the battle, the Horned King’s minions take the cauldron and Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya and Bounce back to the castle, but Sisu escaped. The Horned King used the cauldron to spawn the army of Heartless, begining to pour out into the world while holding Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya and Bounce in view of the cauldron.
Gurgi, deciding not to abandon his friends this time, and Sisu sneak into the castle and rescued them. Sora and Taran decided to destroy the cauldron to save everyone, but Gollum stops Sora, Taran, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu and manipulated the Horned King, who blames him, saying Taran has interfered for the last time, to engage Sora, Taran, Gurgi, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu. After the battle, Sora and Taran destroyed the cauldron, but the cauldron is out of control and consumes the Horned King in a tunnel of fire, killing him and destroying the castle, using up all its powers forever, as Sora, Taran, Gurgi, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu escape. After the escape, Gollum is mad that the plan failed before he leaves the world, while a light comes from the cauldron and emerges to reveal a Keyhole. Sora points his Keyblade at the Keyhole and locks it. As Sora, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu are about to leave the world, Taran gives them the keyblade Gift of Gwydion and he and Gurgi wishes to see them again and they are welcome to come back whenever they want.

- Sora, Pooh, Piglet, Paddington, Dobby, Maya, Bounce and Sisu replace Eilonwy and Fflewddur Fflam, the two secondary characters from The Black Cauldron.
- Gollum replaces Creeper, the secondary villain from The Black Cauldron.
- Unlike most KH worlds, Land of Darkness's storyline takes place after the events in the source material, rather than being an adjusted version of the original plot. It shares this trait with the Olympus Coliseum in the first Kingdom Hearts.
- Instead of undead warriors: the "Cauldron-Born", the evil Horned King now seeks this source of pure darkness to create more Heartless for Gollum’s army.
- Dr. Facilier replaces the three witches, Orddu, Orgoch and Orwen, the supporting villains from The Black Cauldron. But instead of trading the cauldron for Taran's sword, he spawns the Skeleton-like Heartless to attack Sora and the others.
- In the original film, the cauldron’s power can only be broken when someone willingly climbs into it, which will kill them. But in KH4, the cauldron’s power can only be broken when someone uses a Keyblade to lock it.
- The scene where Gurgi jumps into the cauldron, sacrificing himself is never shown.
- Dallben is mentioned once by Taran, but not seen.
