Freddy Krueger is a villain in Kingdom Hearts II ½. He is one of the bosses in Freddy's Nightmare.
Role[]
Freddy is a dream-based ghoul emerges to torment Sora and Cloud in his constructed nightmare world, inhabited by Nightmare Dream Eaters.
As a boss[]
Since the dream world is his creation, Freddy has a wide range of powers here. He can teleport, copy himself to distract Sora, and change the scenery. His primary attack is a basic slash with his claws; occasionally he'll attack with a devastating slash combo. From time to time, he'll change the scenery, spawning tentacles from the floor that attack Sora and must be taken out. Mouths will pop up from the floor to bite Sora. Also, he has an attack in which his head grows very large and breathes fire. He'll also summon homing lasers and A LOT of Dream Eaters. Given his wide range of attacks and unpredictability, he is a very tough boss indeed. Be sure to use the reaction command Release whenever available - Sora, his allies and Freddy will be briefly teleported to the real world, where Freddy is much weaker.
